Bill Binder began improvising in 1994 with Michigan’s The Troupe where he performed and
toured for six years. He moved to Arizona and joined several local groups. In 2002, he began
22 months of study at Hollywood’s ImprovOlympic Theatre. He is now performs with The
Remainders as well as local groups Apollo 12 and Galapagos. He directs improv for the Arizona
Jewish Youth Theatre and is the director of the annual Phoenix Improv Festival. He continues
to teach and perform at festivals throughout the country.

Shane Carey took up the Chapman Stick in 1999, after more than a decade of singing and
playing bass and keyboard in various bands in San Diego. In 2001 he moved to Phoenix, began
playing fully improvised sets on solo Stick, and started performing improvised comedy with
ComedySportz Phoenix. He is now the accompanist for The Remainders and Pacto Suicido. His solo
Stick improvisations are heard by more than a dozen people worldwide in a podcast called
Nascent Music, and he is pursuing work as a composer.

Mack Duncan had been a Phoenix Improvisor since 1999, and has been a professional educator since 2001. He has a degree in Directing from Arizona State University. At ASU he wrote and performed with The Farce Side and Barren Mind improv. He was a member of the Phoenix ComedySportz team from 99-2002, directing the troupe from 01-02. He has been teaching Theatre Arts at Cortez High School since 2003 and is currently performing with Apollo 12, The Remainders, The Phoenix Neutrino Project, and The Elastic Theatre Company.

Ken Ferguson brings Johnstone and Spolin inspired improvisation from Spokane, Washington's Blue Door Theatre to Arizona. After several years with local Arizona improv comedy troupes The Jester'Z and The Originals, he left to pursue an interest in musical improv and work with The Remainders. Living in Casa Grande, Arizona, he is the Artistic Director for The Historic Paramount Theatre where he teaches improv classes, performs, directs and is constantly working to build an improv community in the town.

Jose Gonzalez is a Phoenix native who received his start in acting and performance under bree
williams (lower-case letters intentional). In addition to being the director of Galapagos, he
occasionally partakes in solo performances and has a couple of other improvisational projects
in the works. He helped develop & produce the Barrow Gang's Scattershot Tour & Hovercraft, a
musical improv duo, is an Associate Producer of the Phoenix Improv Festival, and is
currently recording music for Dangerville.

Alys Mae Oxentenko is a desert flower. She has been improvising in Arizona for four years starting out in the teen improv troupe "All Rights Reserved". Alys is a member of the International Thespian Society and received the "Best Thespian Award" during her senior year of high school. She is a busy college student majoring in nursing and political science. She loves doing yoga and drinking tea.

Stacey Seaman teaches music for the Casa Grande Elementary School District and the Artistic Musical Director for The Paramount Theatre in Casa Grande. Stacey began her improv career with the Tucson based troupe, "Not Burnt Out, Just Unscrewed", and later with the "The Originals". As a performer with The Remainders, Stacey is able to bring her love of music and improvisation together.

Tom Schaeffer graduated from Lehigh University in his home state of Pennsylvania with a degree in Theatrical Production & Design (and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering) in 1995. Soon thereafter, he moved to Arizona where he began his improv career performing with The Jester'Z and in 2004 he became a founding member of The Originals. Tom supplements his improv work with frequent short film and commercial projects and performs regularly with The Phoenix Neutrino Project.

Jeffrey Watson has lived in Arizona all of his life. After graduating from The University of
Arizona, he relocated to Phoenix in 2003 where he became involved with improvising with The
Jester'Z and working for Camelback Bible Church. Through the Church, he has performed with
the Christian improv group Medium Rare and has written several short films. In recent years,
he has made several trips to Russia performing ministry with his brother. He is also a
frequent speaker for the Arizona Artist's Guild.
